You can either boil or steam the lobsters; it is up to your choice. If you want to boil the lobsters, take a pot and fill ¾ of it with salted water. Boil the water and then immerse the lobsters into it. If they are 1-2 lbs. in weight, you need to cool them for about 18 minutes. For the lobsters above 2lbs., boil them for at least 25minutes. If you like to steam the lobsters, put them on a plate placed on a pan of boiling water. Make sure to add salt to water. Place the lid on the pan so that steam does not escape. Steaming a live lobster takes the same time as mentioned above. When the lobsters are properly cooked, they change their color from brown and greenish blue to bright brown or red.

1 x 500g pack of red beans
2 large smoked pork sausages
Rice
Onions
Olive Oil
Bell pepper
Clove of garlic
Celery
Litre of water
1/2 tbls cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1 tbls parsley
1 1/2 litre of water
Preparation time: Approx. 20 minutes.
Cooking time: Approx. 60 minutes.
Remove the red beans from the packet and rinse them in a sieve under running water to remove any grit and sand that may be present.
Add the olive oil to a medium sized pan, and coarsely chop the onions, bell peppers and celery and to soften them on a very low heat for a few minutes.
Add the water slowly to the pan, and add the cayenne pepper, parsley and crushed garlic.
Once you have added the ingredients, turn up the heat and bring the water to a rolling boil and add the washed red beans to the pan with the other ingredients. Stir gently, and cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat to a gentle simmer.
Keep a close eye on the pan, and stir once every 15 minutes or so. You should add water as required to prevent the food from sticking to the pan while making sure that the consistency of your beans are to your liking.
While the beans are cooking, place the sausages into an oven and roast them until they are golden brown. Remove them from the oven and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before chopping them into inch-long pieces.
Place the sausage pieces into the pan with the beans, stir, and cook on a simmer for another 10 minutes ensuring that the water in the pan does not dry out.
You can serve your spicy bean salad with brown or white steamed rice and optionally garnish with finely sliced red onions, lettuce and capers.

Recipe-1:
Ingredients for fruit salad Recipes
12 cups fresh fruit in bite-size pieces
Use any fruits you wish or select from among these good choices:
Strawberries, halved or quartered
Seedless grapes, whole
Cantaloupe and/or Honeydew melon balls
Apricots, seeded and quartered
Raspberries, whole
Cherries, whole
Bananas, sliced about 1/2-inch thick
1 cup broken nuts (optional)
Combine the fruits in a large bowl. Gently stir in the nuts and the Honey-Lime Dressing, below.
Honey-Lime Dressing:
1/3 cup fresh lime juice
Zest of 1 lime, grated
3/4 cup honey
Combine all the dressing ingredients and fold into the fruit salad.
Cooking Method
Cut the fruits a little smaller than above, less than bite-size. Dressing: Mix 1/3 cup honey with the juice of 2 limes and 1/2 cup maraschino liqueur or 1/3 cup orange liqueur. Fold the dressing into the fruit mixture, cover, and refrigerate for 4 hours. Serve in individual dishes, “cups.”
Makes about 16 3/4-cup servings.

Ingredients
4 large naval oranges, peeled and cut into chunks
4 large apples, cored and cut into chunks
1 (12 ounce) package frozen cranberries
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored gelatin mix
1 cup white sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
Cooking Method
Place the oranges in the bowl of a food processor, and pulse until chopped, 2 or 3 pulses. Remove and place the chopped oranges into a large bowl. Chop the apples in the food processor for 2 or 3 pulses, and place in the bowl. Chop the cranberries in the food processor for 2 or 3 pulses, and place in the bowl with the oranges and apples.
Stir the gelatin mix, sugar, and chopped pecans into the chopped fruit, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate until set, at least 2 hours.
